TEXT TUTORIAL

Step 1- Start up the game and go into multiplayer with controller 1 (Account you DO NOT want the Hero Gear on)
Step 2- Add in controller 2 (The account you WANT the Hero Gear on)
Step 3- Go into a custom game with Controller 1 and start up the match.
Step 4- With controller 2 press start, then triangle and join a friend in a party lobby.
Step 5- Very quickly with controller 2 when booted into the custom lobby screen go to specialists.
Step 6- Spam circle with controller 1 to leave lobby, do this step ASAP also.
Step 7- Screen should be glitched, with controller 2 press Left on DPAD then triangle very quickly.
Step 8- With controller 1 press down and X to go into zombies.
Step 9- With controller 2 hover over the gear you want (DO NOT select it yet or the glitch wont work)
Step 10- Press back, then up and X to go back into multiplayer with controller 1
FINAL STEP- Select the gear you want with controller 2 and your done.

I believe it's patched. I get kicked off the BO3 servers, when I hover Specialist and spam circle to leave lobby. (Steps 5 and 6) Is anyone else have trouble???

Damn!! Now I think it's patched after the big update. Hope someone else can confirm or find a way.

Just because 1.05 is out , it does not mean that it is patched.

I tried it and I can't get it to work again. So not sure if others are running into the same problem.

Based on the silence on this topic that there isn't a way yet to UNLOCK HERO GEAR. The old way was money until they put in a patch. 😖

New method out tomorrow.
