Found this on YouTube, was posted today (4th Dec), so I do not know if it is patched or not.

Instructions:

1 - Firstly, you need 2 guns

2 - Now get 2 people to down themselves right next to each other

3 - Hold X (Xbox), or Square (PS3) and keep looking left and right. The aim here is to revive the other player before it switches to your normal gun

4 - Now buy a gun off the wall, this gun will replace your knife

If you want more than 3 guns, you can also purchase the bowie knife after you get 3 guns and follow the steps above again.

IF it replaces your knife ... is it safe from the thief?
Thief only takes "firearms" not "knifes" ??
