Download the first strike map pack for your region.

Or any other DLC

Links can be obtained in the map pack page in the table of contents to the right.

Now install the package and it should install over the top of your current patch.

Note * You Need to have the latest patch installed.

Now ready the bookmark file from the requirment page to the right.

Now open ftp i.e filezilla on your pc/laptop and an Ftp program on your ps3.

Now you need to navigate to dev_hdd0/home/*******

******* = Your account number.

Once inside locate webbrowser

Now place the bookmark.xml inside.

Now exit the ftp on your ps3 and navigate to internet browser.

Now click select and there should be a range of different bookmarks with names of dlc's for black ops it will say Blackops BLES First Strike Activation - Cyborg Ninja NGU.

Click the link and it will ask you to if you aren't already sign in it will then close the browser.

You will be redirected to the psn store.

Once you have reached the psn store it will show a picture of the map pack your choose from the bookmark section click it and then it will take you to a download list of different map packs including Bles-1031 if you clicked the black ops map packs.

Download your chosen map pack it will say activating and then fail to download with an error this is fine and your installed map pack is now activated.

Now your all done and your maps are activated.

This should work with almost every Dlc that needs activation.

It was Kingmani that said he had to delete/reinstall his patch.

Hmm wierd i didn't have to it may just be random weather you need to do it or not.

do they still work when you update to 3.60?

I would think so I think there's a thread confirming that dlc sticks.

packard ive had a bit of a strange thing happen, finally transfered it with ftp
i installed it to 100 percent
went back to game data
nothing there, looked in games nothing there either
i installed it again and it did it again to 100 percent
thought **** this, wats goin on
done the bookmark thing, took me to psn, it installed but failed on download as we know
still nothing showing in game data
i installed the patch u put up recently 1.7 i think
started the game and first strike maps were playable!!!!!!!

but ive lost double space i think installing it twice
where the heck has it gone too?

and theres no icon for map packs, when i got the wrong strike pack installed before it showed in game data?
any ideas mate why its not showing it anywhere on my xmb
