I'm not against modding older games of the series, such as Cod4 and W@W, but what i don't understand, is why so many people are desperate to mod Bo1, MW3, and BO2. It has gotten to the point of being just plain pathetic these days.

COD will always be upgraded with the use of various hacks, lmfao. They'll never go away no matter what. It may be a little to much sometimes though not gonna lie.
