(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have noticed many people (including myself) have stumbled upon the issue of passing the "Obtain IP Address Test" but fail on the "Internet Connection Test".

I found a solution that hopefully will help all of you struggling with the same issue.

1. Disable Firewall
2. Type in your Default Gateway IP in your browser to take you to your IP server. (Most are 192.168.1.1).
3. Then, change your IP (Not your default gateway IP) to the IP on the Patch Blocker. Save Settings.
4. When you type in your default gateway, it shouldn't work (this is what happened for me.)
5. Now, type ipconfig in command prompt as you have previously before, and now check your new IP address. Mine changed to the IP on the patch blocker, except the end was .101 instead of .1 (This shouldn't really matter.)
6. Enter the NEW IP Address on your IP config into your Proxy Server settings, and it should work.
7. Continue with all the steps on how to get 1-10th prestige.
8. ???
9. Profit!

the guy is just tryin to help people with the problem, how about make sure the IP adresse is clashing with any Laptop/Computer in your house

That happened to me as well...

What I did was I went back to the server again and changed it back to the original IP, somehow it let me go back. Just press back and try it.

you dont need 2 do the test.

and your ps3 needs to have the cable the pc/laptop can be wireless.
