If you have pre-ordered from Game
you will not recieve your game early, i recieved a email from game illustrating this :

Thank you for preordering Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition from GAME.co.uk

Due to the epic size of Modern Warfare 3 we have a lot to do to make sure it gets to you in time
for launch day. As a result, we will be processing your order and charging your payment card a
little earlier than usual.

If your payment is processed successfully you will receive an email letting you know that your
order is on its way. Your order won't reach you early, the email just means it's being held ready for
delivery on launch day.

If there is a problem with your order you may receive an email informing you that your order
has been cancelled. This could be due to a problem with your payment method. If your order
is cancelled in this way please check that your payment details are correct and place a new
order at

Modern Warfare 3 is released on 8th November and Activision, who publish it, have worked very
hard to make it the biggest gaming launch ever. They have requested that no UK retailer despatch
Modern Warfare 3 before the 7th November and GAME along with all reputable retailers will respect
this request. Your order is being despatched by ParcelForce who have a 99.2% next
day delivery rate. We will ensure that your order is despatched via ParcelForce in time for release day.
Please note that all courier tracking numbers wont be active until the evening before launch.

Why did you not order the game from places like Tesco?
Getting 4 hours of 2xp is not worth £15 extra imo.

I got black ops 3-4 days early from tesco last year (because of the snow possibly...) so fingers crossed

We can wait one day but i would prefer if it came early

I need it on the 7th as im off college that day, and im back in on the 8th and wont be back until 5ish so wont get the game then, because parcel force are twats and never leave in the porch or anything
Plus i cant be ill on that day as i have a dam English exam

I also got the email from gamestation, it does however say not to redeem the intel pack code before the game is released which does kinda imply they don't really know whether it will get to us earlier than release.

this sucks, GAME is the only retailer that does the intel pack

who else would this policy apply to? Thinking about ordering from shopto.net or play.com

Mate it applies to all retailers selling the game, Activision are going hardcore to stop any copies being released early this year.

I've got a friend that works at game and you won't get it a day early you will be lucky to get it on the 8th, he's told me that parcel force are collecting the games on the 7th and will be delivered the next day. Even the shop workers have no chance of getting it early as all the games are stored away. Which sucks as he was going to get me the game on the 1st

damn first time i pre ordered a game from GAME. my email says it will be sent by royal mail and its a 93% chance of getting on the day, btw my post man sucks around my area.
