The whole game was based on making money and not making it perfect...Call of duty Elite is just a remake of the Black ops Combat record, except you have to pay

Not too sure the game is meant to be a game with too much of a serious vibe taken from it anyway, I think it can be thought of from your perspective though, I see your point there, some take it for fun, while others take it seriously. I suppose it can be taken into consideration from multiple perspectives, mine being for fun really.

IW is notorious for empty promises, not that Treyarch hasn't had their fair share of them either, I think both companies working under Activision have, don't take too many promises seriously with them, likely wont come through anyway. Most of the time the only things they wont even speak of or try to deny, are the only real things that come out confirmed.
