(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); your able to upgrade your harddrive to a bigger one like a 1tb for example, i have a question though.
insted of taking your 500gb to a trade in store are you able to re use it? place itback into your ps4 without having to automatically reformat it like the ps3 did?
so taking a old out and putting a new in then taking the new out and placing the old one back.
thanks.

Climbing up the ladder
lmao ...

ANY SATA 3 will work with ANY SATA 1,2 or 3 ...

- they will just run as the speed of the controller !

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

1TB 9.5mm
You must login or register to view this content.

- I've yet to measure it ,
but ...
I honestly think the 15mm drives will fit from what video footage I have found ...

2TB 15mm
You must login or register to view this content.

now lets say - If you get this cable ,
You must login or register to view this content.

now you can feed the internal sata connection to the outside of the case
you will then have a Esata connection basically !

could use something like this for a single 3.5" drive

case You must login or register to view this content.

3TB 3.5" drive You must login or register to view this content.

or go all out and use a external raid0 setup ...

You must login or register to view this content. with 4x3TB = 12TB

voltage differences wont really be a issue , as they will use external power sources ...
- you would only need to "spin-up" the external drive , or drives before booting the PS4.

So now my real question and ponder is , how much will it format ...

Winky Winky
