its a error with the stores. but most of the time its all online preorders and if you live close to the dc where its shipping from and you choose basic shipping they send them all out early. but like i said if you live close to the dc then you get it faster.

ya its kinda a hit and a miss but amzon and walmart send them out early alot of the time

websites send them early so "they get it to you on time" but really they want you to buy it from them because they'll send it early.

Smaller, less known gamestores will sell it to you early also

Getting games early is not something everyone can do. More than likely in most situations, you can apply to get them early; usually you have to be well known. Or you can work an an electronic store ie; GameStop, Walmart, or Best Buy and try and finesse them out of a copy. (not recommended).
