Post: Question about Win 7
02-12-2009, 12:51 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is there a way to downgrade to WinXP? I need it for a few games as GameGuard doesn't work with Windows 7 as far as I know or is there a fix?

Anyways, whenever I put my Win.XP disk in after is starts the "Starting setup" on the bottom it will give me a BSOD so I don't know..

No, you can't downgrade Windows. Your best option is to install Windows XP on a separate partition.

Yeah, just copy all the files you want to keep that are on the D drive to the C drive, then install XP to the former D drive.

Put the disk in the drive and restart your computer. You should be able to boot from the CD and install. Just make sure you select the correct drive as the installation destination.

If you get a BSoD while booting from the CD then try removing any PCI cards you have installed or any additional hardware that you don't need.
