NVidia is probably the chipset in your mobo, and then your actual graphics card is an ATI card. I honestly don't know, mate. Sorry.
Aside from the display drivers, I can't think of what could be causing this.
What problems are you even encountering that you're trying to adjust the hardware acceleration?
