What graphics card or chipset do you have? Try updating the drivers for them.

The drivers are updated but when i look at my display adapters it says it an ATI but on the front of my computer it says its a NVIDA
And all of my drivers are updated

NVidia is probably the chipset in your mobo, and then your actual graphics card is an ATI card. I honestly don't know, mate. Sorry.

Aside from the display drivers, I can't think of what could be causing this.

What problems are you even encountering that you're trying to adjust the hardware acceleration?

Now i cant even access that option it is grayed out :/

Well, I know when that happens it just means that your chipset's/graphics card's drivers don't allow it to be adjusted. It's not really anything that can be fixed, you just have to hope the next update will allow it.

well im pretty sure there is not gonna be anymore updates :/ its from 06
