yeh i have found a couple of cheap cables that i could buy. do you have any idea if the method (hdmi to vga) will work though? i know the cables are cheap, but i dont want to spend my money for nothing lol
Well assuming the ones you purchase aren't broken, you should be able to take the HDMI output from the xbox, and use the converter to connect it to VGA input ports on your laptop. But again, what I would do first, if you really want to be careful, just go into a local electronics retailer (like Best Buy or RadioShack) and bring your laptop, ask them for a way to connect your xbox HDMI output to your laptop screen, and see what they say. They can either find you the cables or come up with a better solution.
