Post: Need Help with my external hard drive

DEATH on ARRIVAL
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When I plug in my external hard drive my computer won't recognize it but it shows up in the bottom tray with the Safely Remove Hardware buttons.

When I tried to stop/eject the external hard drive, I get this message

It also shows up in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark.

and when I open it, it shows this

What do I have to do to fix this?

try format thru ms-dos if u can

When I try to format in MS-DOS, it says the driver does not exist. I might be doing it wrong though.

Is it a bird? ... Is it a plane?
turn on your computer in safe mode, then plug it in, use it, un-plug it..then resart your computer normally, the usb should work Smile
