(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is the thread where you can boast about your overclocks, and post some benchmarks as well. Essentially I am trying to keep this place alive and ticking since not too many people visit these parts of the forums.

Edit: Thread is back up and still being updated! Post away! Everything has been cleaned up a little and I placed the charts on separate pages.

What's the Purpose?

As I mentioned before, you can post some form of proof that you have overclocked really anything, weather it be your CPU or GPU. Even your RAM (Although no one has done this so far, you could be the fist!)

Just post an image or proof of some sort, and I will add you to the spreadsheet. The results will be found at the end of the thread.

Who can Join?

EVERYONE!

I am a noob at overclocking, can I join?

Of course! I will be more than happy to help you with any overclocking questions that you might have. If I don't have the answer, I will at the very least lead you in a trusted direction from folks over at another forum. (PM me if you would like to know, as I don't believe advertising is allowed, please correct me if I'm wrong)
There you will most definitely get the help you need as they are all very respectable overclockers and benchmarkers. Think your rig is the best? Chances are someone there will beat you. Oh and not to mention that they hold several world records.

Feel free to PM me at any time!

Is this a good format?
I don't know what my Benchmark scores are i don't really fool with them,Also my GPU overclock isn't that extreme i just googled a stable overclock for it but if i go any higher i get a rainbow screen at random,I did do the overclock on my CPU myself after reading about it for a few days,I had to use y-cruncher because i have it set to downclock at idle and i didn't want to go into the BIOS to change it so thats why it's in there :P .This is my first build ever and i will try to get a good pic of it if anybody's interested.Cool thread mate :y:

Your processor isn't overclocked. I will add you as 3.3 GHz since your CPU is being "underclocked" automatically to preserve power.

In the meantime, check out some guides to overclock. You should be able to hit 3.8-4GHz on the stock cooler.

EDIT: The memory is like that because it's dual channel. So essentially whatever the clock speed you see, it will be divided by 2. I know it's weird but trust me your fine.

Btw: It say's JORDAN not Cpt. Slow, but I have reason to believe that is you regardless.

Yeah thats me and im sure i OC to 4.0GHz in BIOS settings it had like a preset so i chose 4.0... when i run BF3 it says on CPU-Z im hitting 4.0 so idk whats going on there

Oh I see. It's because your idling at your desktop and the processor down locks itself to save power (A feature that will also prolonge the life of your CPU) I'm currently on my iPhone now so I don't think I can update the charts, but I will be sure to add you, just download prime 95 and run a stress test and while it's doing that just validate it, should report 4ghz

Damn, I wish I had my graphics card before it burned out, now I got this crappy low-profile card, Im gonna still try to overlock though, thanks for the guide(s)

Yeah, but while the stress test is running, open CPUz and click validate, put your username from NGU there and submit it back. It's alright though, I added.
