This video is false, your internet speeds depends upon certain variables, the wireless unit you are using, your router, the range at which the router is at, interference (Say from the television), weather conditions, how many people are currently connected to your ISP, your ISP, the type of connection you have, (copper wire versus fiber), how many people are currently accessing your internet.

It seems as though he opened up a gateway and to me, this seems like it may allow the process of sending and receiving packets in a unfiltered way, which would make it appear to speed up but can pose a security risk.
