If so could you post one here?

For those who don't know, the VP data is in the Personal settings 1 gamesave in a file named SYS-DATA
(or atleast it used to be in Fifa 10)

Okay guys.
The VP data is saved in the File naemd SYS-DATA
This file has always been encrypted on fifa games but untill now could be swapped without difficulty, the problem is now they seem to have added an offset in the SYS-DATA that allows the ps3 to determin which account the SYS-DATA belongs to, untill we find the offsett i can't see us being able to share VP's

Joe how come they can do it on xbox tho

on xbox they use Several tools that have no equivelent for ps3 such tools are xport 360 and modio, my understanding of the xbox hack is limited but i think they can identify the part of the save which contains the profile information and change it to the new users one.

The difficulty i'm having is that i created 2 identical accounts on my ps3 in an attempt to find the part of the save that contained the account information/name so i could change it to match the new on, when i compared the 2 saves they did not have 1 commont byte.

i do not pretend to be a good hacker, i'm not, but i do know how to compare hex files and they are competely different.

No not by tonight, i have been trying since the release in the EU and in all honesty i'm no closer, i think we'll be waiting a while for this as people are just not that interested in the way they are with cod, i'll keep the forum updated on progress but i wouldn't hold your breath
