(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was wondering how much money are commentators like seananners and hutch getting from machinima. Like are they getting enough money to barely support themselves.... Or do they just do commentating on the side and have an actual real job or are they making a lot of money.... Thanks for responses.

Aka Integrity.
Hutch quit commentating, He's now working for Machinima. The big company. I'm thinking he gets paid more by going around the globe into gaming conventions, If Hutch goes to my city. I won't regret getting tickets for the convention, I'm a big fan.. BOY, Lol.

If you look at it on a monthly basis, from what I've heard it just depends on how much you put into it. Ken Burton, for example, releases a few videos every day, so he may manage to get by on the money the send.

Although for the most part, it's not something you can rely on as it isn't a steady income. Machinima may take weeks to upload your videos, and the community may suddenly turn on you or accuse you of being a fake. Just look at how many subs GUN1T lost (not that subs are at all related to Machinima).

None of us no exactly how much they make, and Sesh is the only person on here who works for Machinima, but he can't reveal how much they make, so you're all just wasting your time guessing.

When they offered me a contract on the regular machinima channel years back, it was 200$ for the first 20,000 views, then 5$ for every 1,000 views after that. I'm sure they don't make nearly as much now, or atleast the people on the smaller machinima channels.

did u take the contract?

Signing up for a Machinima contract is basically offering to be scammed. Machinima being a partner on youtube, makes money for X amount of views. Each director OF Machinima gets a PERCENTAGE of what Machinima gets paid by Google for being a partner. What I'm expecting is they would pay around ten percent of what the actual money they make off of the video is because the supply/demand suggests around that area is where gamers are willing to make videos on a daily bases, turning a hobby into work (instead of making videos whenever, you are forced to do it as a schedule, defeating the purpose in my opinion). Now the rest of the ninety percent Machinima makes off of the their video is put into their own profit, maintaining their site and promotion. Having three channels Machinima is basically whoring off of these unsuspecting commentators of gameplay we all have experienced ourselves but for some reason the majority of us like to watch it happen again without their own first person experience and some annoying guy with a monotone voice talking over the gameplay about how many times he jacked off that day. However the funny thing is these guys will be screwed once MW2 dies out.
