Messed up

So I figured I'd shre what just happened by me.
It's now 12:30 am here and I'm at work since like 11:45 pm.
So anyway when I get to work I get out of my car and lock the door.
As I walk inside I hear 5 gunshots in the yard right behind the house I work at.
Moments after there are a ton of cops around here and lots of cops chasing a few cars that fled the scene.
Just pretty crazy to me.
There are still a ton of cops around here.
LOL just thought I'd share my night so far.

Back when I used to live in California in this real crappy neighborhood, I had a drive by occur on my street. It was directed towards my neighbors across the street from me, luckily no one was hurt but I still remember that day pretty clearly.I was around 9-10, and the car slammed on it's brakes right in front of my house, it stopped and fired about 4 shots before it took off. That's the only time I've seen someone shoot at someone. I've heard plenty of shootings though, around maybe 4, just around my neighborhood. I hated living there, but now that I'm Texas, it's alot more calm and I haven't heard a gun fire in over 5 years.

Have you ever been to a shooting range?

Not yet. I just turned 18 not too long ago and my dad said he was going bring me. If that doesn't happen I'll just go myself eventually, I want to.

Really, never? They aren't has "dramatic" i guess you would say then they are in the movies. BTW, where do you live?

Really, never. I live in Massachusetts, North of Boston. My city is pretty quiet, not much happens here.

And you never shot a gun? How old are you I guess its just hard to believe for me because I live in a "Rural" area I guess you could say and pretty much every family has a gun in there house, no joke Mostly for hunting and what not tho.

I said I just recently turned 18 in my previous post. I live in a very urban area, so it's the complete opposite. I don't even know anyone that has a gun in their house. That's like unheard of here. lol

I'm kinda surprised to hear that none of you have ever heard gun shots. :P But I really didn't think about it, when I do, I realize I live in Amish country. I shoot in my friend's hay field ;D
