Yes, Tokyo is supposed to be the 7th film. Han and his girl friend are dead. If you waited for the credits to go half way through, you would see that a guy (I assume Shaw's brother) purposely crashed into Han while he was escaping from DK and made sure Han died (I assume Shaw's brother is the one who alerted DK's uncle about Han stealing money). But she is defiantly dead because, they didn't show her at all after she died and you can see that Han is depressed a little at the end of the film. After this film we are now at the point when Dom races the white kid Han trained in Tokyo. Hope I answered your question.
That made logical sense but why would they kill off two important members like that? That's the only thing that doesn't make any sense at all. That'd be really fucking lame if they weren't in it but i'd watch it nonetheless. (I would much rather have Hobbs die as he isn't really that important imo.)
EDIT: The Peruvian girl Black liked would add more romance but i'd like to see them actually settle down.

And IDK.. I think Han died, sadly. And Giselle.. aww man, she was super cute. I HOPE she comes back, but I'm pretty sure she's done for. Damn, the ending was bittersweet though.
I don't know if it's me not being able to handle the fact they killed off those two (Once again, I think this series needed more romance) or that I am a believer that they'll be back (at least one of them).
Having Han & Giselle die is like having Aladan fall off his carpet and becoming the male equivalent of Helen Keller. I honestly don't want to wait until July, 11th 2014 (Supposed release date) and I want a trailer ASAP. :boss:

I know Letty never died but she was believed to be dead which I think might happen with Han/Giselle (or maybe both :happyguy

. If you've followed the series, death isn't permanent (95% of the time, no main characters die, especially after being in it for 3 movies).

They're both dead. Tokyo Drift just wasn't in order because they couldn't get the original cast back for a third film at the time so they make a different one. Then they just tied it into the actual series with Han. I think it was Brian that wouldn't come back for a third movie at the time but Dom would and hence why Dom is at the end of Tokyo Drift.
Still the question that has my mind meandering, why kill off those two after 3/4 movies? That would make most fans unhappy, which would result in lower earnings?
This is hypothetical talk but i'll give it a go:
Scenario 1: Giselle could be dead and Han could have died which would lead me to think that Black and his GF would join the crew as Han was his friend ect. (That'd bring the little black guy and their crew in)
Scenario 2: Giselle/Han could be dead but one of them (if any of them are alive) will reunite with the group in Tokyo and fuck shit up (Possibly Black & GF join).
Scenario 3: They're both alive and are re-introduced maybe not in this movie but F&F8? (I know after the explosion it'd have to be some DeathRace Frankenstein shit but I am an oppurtunist and don't wanna see this franchise lose out on two great people and a great romance.) (I would like to see Black and his crew join until these guys come back if they do I also hope this happens).
P.S. We saw it done with Letty where the car exploded, although she was outside of it and not upside down
