(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I haven't seen this in the ''official'' thread yet but for those of you who don't know this might explain things a bit.

Basically Sony are re-building and re-strengthening the whole infrastructure of the Playstation Network. If you think about this it could take another week yet, this isn't just a small problem that requires twelve hours or so, they've probably had to bring in network specialists and security experts to do this sort of job.

In-addition to this it is bank holiday in the UK right now (I'm not sure about other countries) so they may start work on it again until Tuesday.

And for those of you who are complaining the purpose of this is to give us users additional security against hackers, I believe it will be worth it in the long run.
