But some of them require you to keep the sites information under the counter, it looks poop as well. They say they'll delete it if you change the code for it not to show.

Yeah but it doesn't show up as an advertisement or anything. You didn't need to make an account so you could probably just replace their link with your site so it just redirects to your site again :p.
If you really don't want any adverts you can always use a php script for your own webcounter, it is longer to get it (installation etc) but if you really don't want adverts the try it.

Did you try the ones I gave you, I found one that basically is your own but requires more work than just copying for the free site.
