in GAMES folder it will take 3 or 4 hours to ftp

So i was reading the torrent. and it said i have to change the "param.sfo" to "03.40". I'm not sure what this means, is it mandatory? i get to use online correct?

are u on 3.41 or 3.55 or 4.21 or 4.30 cfw?
