I am having the same error as you, I can run target manager and connect. Run debugger and connect. But when i run rte tools i cant attatch my processes. I have all the correct settings, and i am on a wired connection for my ps3(also tried wireless before). Nothing anyone has tried to tell me works, and i am on a debug eboot. Whoever finds a solution, please quote me also

I had that problem and fixed it. Are you running proDg target manager for ps3? You have to download that and connect it via your IP address. You must have your ps3 wired to your router and computer wireless on the same router.

Why not start your own thread instead of bumping an almost 3 year old thread?

Anyways.. if you can connect but not attach then you probably use tmapi connection and you need a debuged eboot for that.
There is plenty of debuged eboots for mw3, just do a quick google search to find one to your likings
