You cant mod mw3 with a USB

the only "mod" that can be done to an OFW ps3 via USB for MW3 is the "Unbound" clan tag mod...but it really doesn't do much more than put "unbound" in your title, and allow you to put unallowed characters in clan title. other than this very specific mod, you will have to jailbreak. For MW3 as far as a jailbreak, you are pretty much limited to modded eboots and sprx menus.

I forgot...There are also various different RTE tools that can be used via CCAPI for MW3
