We're nearly there. The StarCraft II beta will be beginning soon, and now is a good time to jump in line.
"The StarCraft II beta-test period is coming in the months ahead! If you?d like a chance to participate, now?s the time to let us know," says the official Blizzard website.

So how do you opt in?

Just sign up for Battle.net, then add a game under "Manage My Games." Afterward, you'll be able to open up "Beta Profile Settings" and download a client that will take a snapshot of your system specs. Once it's been automatically uploaded, you'll be able to request participation in WarCraft, Diablo and StarCraft betas.
