Post: How to mod PS3 Borderlands 2 saves!!

Requirements


  1. USB Drive
  2. Bruteforcesavedata V1.2.0

  3. Borderlands Save Editor Revision 138


How to


  1. Download and extract the required files.
  2. Copy Borderlands 2 save from PS3 to USB Drive and connect it to your PC.
  3. Open Bruteforcesavedata V1.2.0 find your save and decrypt it.
    [ATTACH=CONFIG]20868[/ATTACH][ATTACH=CONFIG]20869[/ATTACH]
  4. Now open your decrypted save with Borderlands Save Editor Revision 138 making sure to select PS3 Save Files in the lower right of the open screen. Mod your save and then save it.
    [ATTACH=CONFIG]20870[/ATTACH]
  5. Go back to Bruteforcesavedata V1.2.0 and refresh the saves list then select your save and Update PFD and Encrypt PFD.
  6. Unconnect your USB Drive from your PC and reconnect it to your PS3 and copy your modded save to your PS3.

@Paul Morgan What happens when you try to decrypt the save?
@Icksanity I think this is just the start, Bruteforcesavedata works on all PS3 saves and can Resign saves if you have your PSID.

I'm trying to figure that out cl_21 was having the same problem and his save worked fine for me. What OS are you on? Maybe try running as administrator.

Well I tried 3 PCs, My windows 8 laptop has an unregistered .ocx that cannot be registered.
Windows 7 PC Loaded after update to .NET 4 however files dont appear in bottom left and when I decrypt it doesnt load or express that any action has been done, wont open in gibbed and lastly the other laptop gives MSVBVM50.DLL is missing

On your Windows 7 PC try looking up msvbvm50.exe and install that.

Same problem im having tryed two different pcs and save or param never shows up in the bottom left box...:cry:

If don't know how to mod/make weapons just use xbox360 modded saves and convert them to ps3 what i did im lovin it.

Put mscomctl in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM then click START--> RUN and type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX" (No quotes).
