I just checked GT Fluorescence 007-W : 01 9B 3F FF is correct. But to paint the rims also you need to use 019B2xxx.
Maybe you painted it before in GT Fluorescence 006-W, and gt5 hasn't updated the car values yet.

(Switch to other car, update thumbnail of painted car, switch to standard cars, switch to premium cars, update thumbnail of painted car, switch to standard cars, switch to premium cars. Select painted car, it now should have to color you gave it.)

GT Fluorescence 007-W : 019B2 CD9 will paint car and rims.
tested with citroen C4 coupe 2.0 VTS with standard rims.

Car Color Codes are all wrong in the Sense that they are NOT a Single Color code, but a Combination of Body Color and Rim Color
Looking at these codes in Decimal is of little USE, as it hides the Actual Color Chip Code.
But once the correct color is known, it can be converted to a decimal to make it easy to enter
using one of the current tools.

You Have to Look at this in HEX to Understand it.
Here is what we are used to seeing:
The Paint Code as a single 4 Byte Code.

Well this is not really Correct.
It's not a Single 4 Byte Code. It's a compound Code Made up of 3 Nibbles for the RIM Paint Chip, and 5 Nibbles for the Car Paint Chip.
You can Almost split the Code into Two..

This is the Part that controls the Rim Color, the Right most 3 Nibbles

This is the Part that Controls the Painted Car color the Left Most 5 Nibbles

But that's Not All of it.. If the Rims are unpainted then the Painted Car Color will have an ODD value and the Rim Color Nibble will always be OxFFF
If the Rims Are Painted the Painted Car Color will be an EVEN value, and the Rim Color Nibbles will be the Actual Color Chip Code.

I see that Almost everyone is Sharing the Color Codes for a Car Color without Painted rims.
That's why they all End in OxFFF

Here is a Handy Formula to Get the Paint Chip Code from the Shared HEX Colors that end in FFF
In Hex
((Color Code + Ox1) / Ox2000) - Ox1
In Decimal
((Color Code +1) / 8192) - 1

Now once you know the Paint Chip Code, it's real easy to Figure out How to Paint the Car and Rims.

Here is the Formula to Paint the Car and Rims
In Hex:
(Car Color Paint Chip X Ox2000) + Rim Color Paint Chip
In Decimal
(Car Color Paint Chip X 8192) + Rim Color Paint Chip

Here is the Formula to Paint Just the Car, keep the Rims Default or Unpainted
In Hex
((Car Color Paint Chip + Ox1) X Ox2000) - Ox1
In Decimal
((Car Color Paint Chip + 1) X 8192) - 1

And the Last Formula is to Get the Paint Chip Codes for the Rims and Car when Both the Car and rims are painted.
It's really Easy to Do in Hex
The Rims are easy.
It's the Last three Nibbles of the Hex Code.

Now to Get the Car Color, replace the Last three Nibbles with Ox000
You are Actually just Subtracting the Rim Paint Chip Code
then Divide by Ox2000
There is no Easy way to do this in Decimal, since you can’t see the Nibbles directly.

Here is an Example to show you how it works.

Let’s say I want to Paint my Car Deep Purple Metallic with Matte Black Rims

Here is the Code that's been shared for Deep Purple Metallic
Deep Purple Metallic : 00B5FFFF or Ox00B5FFFF
and for Matte Black
Matte Black : 010F3FFF or Ox010F3FFF

Well I know those are Not the Actual Codes for the Paint chip
So I use My Formula to find the Paint Chips
Here is a Handy Formula to Get the Paint Chip Code from the HEX Color that ends in FFF
In Hex
((Color Code + Ox1) / Ox2000) - Ox1

Deep Purple First One step at a time...
((Ox00B5FFFF + Ox1) / Ox2000) -Ox1 First Add Ox1 to the Hex value
((Ox00B60000) / Ox2000) - Ox1 Now Divide By Ox2000
((Ox5B0)) - Ox1 Now Subtract Ox1
and we Have the Paint Chip Code of Ox5AF

So Deep Purple Metallic is Ox5AF

Now Matte Black One step at a time...
((Ox010F3FFF + Ox1) / Ox2000) - Ox1 First Add Ox1 to the Hex value
((Ox010F4000) / Ox2000) - Ox1 Now Divide By Ox2000
((Ox87A)) - Ox1 Now Subtract Ox1
And we Have the Paint Chip Code of Ox879

Matte Black is Ox879

Now that I know both Paint Chip Codes I can figure out the Code to Paint the Car and Rims.
Here is the Formula to Paint the Car and Rims
In Hex:
(Car Color Paint Chip X Ox2000) + Rim Color Paint Chip

One stop at a time.
(Ox5AF X Ox2000) + Ox879 Multiply the Car Paint Chip by Ox2000
(OxB5E000) + Ox879 Add the Rim Paint Chip
This Give the Combined color value of OxB5E879
Since it should be 8 Nibbles or 4 Bytes long, it really is Ox00B5E879

And if you are using a program that needs decimal
Ox00B5E879 HEX = 11921529 Decimal

Here is a little bit More information:

You can get the Color Chip Codes Directly from your GT5.0 and GT5.1 and GT5.x decrypted files.
Just Search for a Color Chip Name.
The Color Chip Code is the First two Bytes RIGHT AFTER the Name.
Be careful, some Paint Chip Names do have a blank Space on the End of the Name Ox20 is a blank space.
So don’t use a chip code that starts with Ox20 you got the wrong First Byte..

Here are the Matte Black and Deep Purple from my GT5.0 file, just so you can see that the Formulas above are correct for Figuring out the Paint Chips.

Matte Black = Ox879

Deep Purple Metallic = Ox5AF

I Hope this information helps all of you out with your paints.
and I hope that the Programmers of the Tools can now include this as part of their tools.

It should be possible to scan the GT5.x files to get all the Chip code values.
That would then make it possible to just select the color by Name, or manually put in the Hex value of the chip.
I’d stay away from using Decimal, as it complicates the Color values.

It would be nice to see a database started of Just the Actual Paint Chip codes and Names.
That would make it easy to Import to one of the tools.

Exist a way (and how) to edit the number of paints that we have? i mean, to get 99 paints for Rosso Corsa for example?.

Have you tried anything to answer your own question? How about you trying to compare saves with 5 Rosso Corsa paints and then with 10 Rosso Corsa paints then publish your findings so as not to look like a leechy mother effer just like 90 percent of the 1 post wonders we have running around here.

Of course, i always try to answer my questions, and if i find the answer i always post it. Like Chevrolet Camaro SS Edge Special, GT Academy 2012 suits and other things that i dont remember right now. Now i have 27 paints of rosso corsa and i compare with my last save with 25 paints of rosso corsa and i cant find the difference. So shut your mouth a little and donk speak of more :n:. But anyway thanks for your suggestion.
