Since lots of information is given by NGU, we decided to write a little application to use with it.
We never had the intension to make an hybrid only tool, so we needed to organize some structure.
But PD tries to make it difficult for us, but we all united can BEAT them!
And it is finally there, in all it's glory, 1.6, 2.14 patch proof!
You can:
Change A-spec/B-spec level
Upgrade/downgrade Credits
Move gamedays (in case you search for a specific car from the UCD)
Gold Licenses
Gold Special events (good to do Vettel, as DS3 player)
Gold A-spec/B-spec events
Change current car to NCD/OCD
Disconnect your borrowed car
Enable/Disable special menu
Globally prevent resetting of your 2.11 hybrids
Reset OCD and UCD
Modify Race Number and font type (for self-created RM/Stealth cars)
And of course do an big amount of things to your car to hybrid it!

For now, this is it! If major bugs come up, we will fix it...hopefully.
Coding has been re-structured and flaws in the car's database has been solved (not all).
Bugs (real ones) have been solved, stolen sources will be detected as we can simulate the bugs!

- Possible Solutions for your problem -
- Download You must login or register to view this content.
- Manually save GT5 in-game before using the tool (Red button in GT Life)
- Skip spaces in the directory structure to your savegame
- Start the tool by clicking the .exe (no shortcut)
- If you move an save from account x to account y. A single restart of GT5 will not solve your PSN issue.
- In case you wonder if anything else gets installed, read the thread. Most has been spoken about
- In case you don't know what something means (Bruteforce, resigning save etc) use the search function on NGU.
- PM's with questions that are not my tool related will be ignored
- PM's with requests to build in things without supplying the correct info to do so, will be ignored.

What your saying now is false information. The backup directory has been there since the backup function was added.
If you never extracted it, I guess that is your own issue.
If the backup folder would not be included in the rar/zip, I would expect the thread to be filled with messages.
Besides, the testers would have slapped me bigtime for making such a error.
On another note, all the people with the warning for failing to decrypt could fix this issue by re-downloading the package.
This has been tested and solved

As far as my knowledge goes, the swapping of engine is not related to a new/premium/standard/used car at all.
If you didn't manage to swap it from car x to car y, there must have been something else that caused it.
A tutorial is not really needed, unless you really have no clue what your doing.
But since you managed to swap an engine already, you know how to do it.

thanks Luca for getting back to me. here is a sequence of what I did in the process of trying to swap eng/drivetrain/gearbox/lsd from a aston martin v8 vantage to a 00 db7.
open ge 1.6
load my saved gt5 save file from usb
confirm my psn
load car info for db7
select eng/drivetrain/gearbox/lsd from v8 vantage
click hybrid
now here is the question do I click the change ff>74 after I click hybrid or before I click hybrid
and what do you mean by manage engine swaps?? just asking to get a little more clarification. love the program. just want to make sure im utilizing it properly, please let me know if im missing a step or two

To be honest, I have made 1 hybrid so far, so I cannot really support what works exactly on what.
But using the [HYBRID] button already does the FF > 74 modification for you.
The extra button on the misc. tab is there to upgrade old saves (from 2.11 to 2.14)

Quite correct. It could be my software did not recognise the folder. Coincidence to give the same error message.
