It was basic but got the job done. It changed "the name you enter the first time you boot up the game and do the practice run" and that's all I really wanted to accomplish. At that time, I hadn't considered the possibilities. When I saw the other tool for the first time, I realized what I was capable of and for that, I'm grateful.

People can say I'm a copycat and (in a way) they're right. I'm not ashamed to admit it, because that's how people learn :p

why do i get a unhandled exeption error when i attach the tool most of the time? And when it does finally attach properly nothing works like setting max money. why is that? I'm using CCAPI and GT6 Duplex version internal if any of that matters.

You're getting the unhandled exception because of the min/max values of the numeric boxes. I'm working on a fix. To save the max credits you need to win a race or sell a vehicle. Unfamiliar with the Duplex version, this tool supports region: BCJS.

Edit: unhandled exception fixed.

Ohh dang the duplex version is BCES so does that mean it will not work for me? I tried selling a vehicle and winning a race and still no credits?:(
