I've always used MX-4. Never let me down but I've seen good things a out Artic Sliver 5. Scared to use it as it could short the PS3 if not applied correctly

Arctic silver 5 is not electrically conductive...
The most it could do is transfer heat to the wrong place.
Arctic Silver 5 ftw imo. But honestly I'd recommend any grease that isn't silicone based, for ps3s. Pc it doesn't matter what you use..

I see. I was thinking about ordering some and trying it but I was wondering if I placed heat tape around the CPU and RSX just Incase it did drip onto the mobo
