I know not all fat ps3 psus use the same wattage and amperage, but idk about the slims. They are not all the same shape, regardless. You are looking for one in the range of what console you have..

20xxx series power supply will fit with (i think) up to 21xxxx? series?
22xxx series power supply will fit with (i think) up to 25xxxx? or 30xxxx series?
something like that..

super slims only fit with super slims, and i haven't messed with super slims enough to know if they have different power supply models within each other...will not fit into any regular slim though.
