phats not backwards compatible, colored and black are $250 for a 40 gig and $280 for a 80 gig.

would u do repairs on phat original 40gb 3.55 the casing is melted so needs new black ps3 case and fan no longer works what needs fixing is fan and i keep getting ylod.

or would it be better to get new ps3 all together
