TION:This Custom Firmware for the PS3 increases the system features of your console to
allow the installation and execution of homebrew applications.
This Custom Firmware could allow too the loading of legal copies (backups) using
these new included features.
RISK OF BRICKS:
Update: Follow the below list. Find your model # on the PS3 itself. Do not attempt this with 256MB NAND.

4) There was coming a moment in which the green led of ps3 start to blinking indefinitely, we turn off the ps3 and plug off the jig.
5) We turn on the ps3, if all has been correctly we have the red square of the factory mode.
6) We turn off the ps3, remove the condition of factory mode, and turn on the ps3... if everything works correctly is that it has not given no problems.
Nonetheless, we advise you that once have all good in the xmb use the recovery and to reinstall 3.55 for if something was absent.

Ok, this what i did. I installed the patched one "CFW 3.55 Waninkoko .PUP" and tried to update through recovery but it kept on saying it cound find anything on my usb. I was on 3.55 geohots cfw then went to official firmware recovery and at first in recovery it couldnt find it. So im going to try again, but the "CFW 3.55 Waninkoko .PUP" is all i need right>? i put it in PS3>UPDATE>??
Make sure the file name is just PS3UPDAT.PUP and NOT PS3UPDAT-CFW.PUP

Only if you are in 3.55 beacause de CFW 3.55 Waninkoko is a 3.55 edited. You must reinstall "3.55"(CFW) and the only way is with the recovery. If you are in 3.55 you cant install again a 3.55. You understand know?
but what if im in GeoHot 3.55 and install from there or In OFW and install from there. some people installed from GeoHot and it worked for them
