-Web Certificate Creation Software
-Software that will run a DNS Server on your PC
-The Actual wiring of the router/pc/ps3 and the different ways you need to set it up with regards to the network settings on the lan cards/router/ps3
Truthfully though after reading through this, the "tutorial" isnt very clear at all.
Looking through the cert file there are a total of 36 different certificates and he doesn't state which one we need to replace.

Cant you just edit the windows hosts file to say 127.0.0.1?

There is a tool called OpenSSL. Its packed with ex. Cygwin or XAMPP. When you opened it use these commands to generate the certificate.
When you are done the certificate should be in the home (cygwin) or bin (XAMPP) folder.

genrsa -des3 -out server.key 1024
req -new -key server.key -out server.csr
x509 -req -days 365 -in server.csr -signkey server.key -out server.crt
