I am no expert hacker. If your on 3.56, this could be the SONY server's checking for CFW. That what I think it is.

i wasnt i found it on my usb after downgrading and im on 3.55

It's your logg! :p Basically because you updated directly from your USB hence the "PackageName = /dev_USB000/PS3UPDAT.PUP" ... It has simply placed the loggs for that onto the USB rather than the HDD... (you will find loads of them if you look in the right places!

Basically just the logg of what the PS3 has done! Creating and writing to partitions on the nor Flash!
