PS3 FTW

-PS3

-USB

Tutorial

1) Download the Firmware I provided you.

2) Go on your PS3 and Disable your Internet connection
(Settings>Network Settings>Internet Connection>Awesome faceisable)

3) Make a Folder on your USB Named PS3 Then inside The PS3 Folder Make another Folder named UPDATE

4) Insert your Firmware into the UPDATE Folder

5) Put your PS3 Into Recovery mode

6) Insert your USB into your PS3

7) Then press the Option "System Update"

You Should now be in 3.56 v1

This does not Let you downgrade to 3.55, but shows us that it is possible to DOWNGRADE on 3.56

I take no credit in this.

I would not recommend this because if your ps3 thinks its on 3.56 even if its on 3.55 then its makes cfw impossible because the system wont recongnise it due to it thinking its on 3.56.

seems cool but no offense but your rep is low. Has this been tested and confirmed working? If so why 3.56 and not 3.55????
