Personally, I would say :n: Your risking a console ban, so it will probably be a waste of money. You can go for it though... I don't really care for hacking it or CL's, I find it rather annoying that when ever I try to play cod4 or mw2, half the lobbies I join are modded.

Off all your going to do is host lobbies I wouldn't say it's worth it. Just because from my personal experiance, it gets real boring, real fast. I would say just play legit, but if you really want to host then buy as cheap of a working ps3 you can find with firmware 3.55 or lower. No need to find a 3.41 but if you do, all is the same.

I use it for Alsort of hacks and I miss being able to do them I can still host challene lobbies now but can't swap patches so I might buy one how much ya think people would sell for

Just buy a 3.55 PS3 and use Custom Firmware, then data transfer using that to your 3.56 PS3 and then use them online .

I suggest going to a normal NON-GAMES store.. as games stores re-stock PS3's often, go to somewhere like Kmart or Target and get one
