Its a problem with the construction of your lag switch take it apart and reattach the ethernet to the switch

I'm pretty sure you just don't know how to use it. Don't hold me to this but I'm 99% sure you have to be the host of the game. Now on CoD5, This can be done by having the switch on while searcing for games, You will be host of game if your switch works. If it says waiting for 5 other players Then you are the host, Now you can turn your it off. Let the game start and use the switch however you please... In the lobby, if it ever says migrating host while your hosting flip it on, Then flip it off after it stops migrating. Start watching at like 2:20. Not my video.

use suggested ps3 settings and make sure there is atleast 10 ft from your lag switch to ps3

Ok does it need to be 10 ft? and i scraped the Ethernet cable just gonna but one off ebay i will probz get reamed for it but i guess its worth it. unless any of you are selling one?

If you buyng off ebay find a really cheap one and buy like three 20 ft
2 for length
1 for the switch
and buy 3 ethernet couplers

the longer the cable the better....make sure you are host or it makes you lag...when your host it makes everyone else freeze...also make sure you have your ethernet cable plugged straight into your modem....and you need to have the right ps3 network settings or it will just sign you out every time.

Yeah, you need to make sure you're the host of the game.. Maybe test out in Private match first.
