When you install the cfw you will get a different install package files. Go into that, go to install from hdd then install the two packages. Go into the new homebrew (forgot the name) and follow the instructions to get debug menu 2 You must login or register to view this content.. Once you have that go to settings and at the bottom it shoudl say "debug settings". Open that and look for np enviroment and change that to sp-in, now you will need to restart your ps3. It should let you on the Dev servers now but you can't use your old psn you will need to make a new one.

so rebug will get me back online? or whats a dev server? is that different than normal psn? can i play with my friends again? or just other hacked consoles? And do i lose all my backups in internal if i do this?

Rebug will get you online but it's a different server so you can only play with other people on that server (rebug cfw and test consoles).And I don't think you'll lose your back ups.
