Post: Lag switch is still disconnecting me

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have just made a lag switch and it disconnects me immedietly. I have manually set every thing(IP and all that) and have a 25 ft ethernet cable. Could not be working because it connected to one of those apple aiports instead of a socket in the wall or something .

I have a router plugged into a airport base station down stairs with an AirPort Express Base Station up stairs with a ethernet connecting it to my PS3

P.S. I use the same type of light switch but i put it in an eletrical box and use as a foot switch

Ok, if i get 2 50ft cables and connect them to the router would having an additional router make and diffrence and would the the location of the lag switch matter?

having another router would definetely make a difference but seeing as you have a weird set-up i am not sure
