What are some USB storage devices I could use to do this? Any recommendations from someone who has had success with this?

The USB isoloader does work , but only on the 60 and 20 Gb ps3's. I myself am experimenting with PSX changer.

Yeah I have a 60 GB launch PS3, but so far it keeps kicking me out to the XMB when I try to load something.

Can you tell me exactly what I should be trying to load, and from what (USB or virtual memory card).

I can experiment with different USB drives.

Wont be the USB , it will be something your doing. watch videos on youtube , they would be the most help.

Well I tried one flash drive and it wouldn't read, so I switched drives and pressed UP + L2 and the program seemed to freeze. I let it sit for a few minutes but still no response.

I'll plug in an actual hard drive later to see if I can get better results.

What I really need to know is what .ELF program should I be booting, the USBAdvance or ULaunchelf?

I can't really know what I'm doing wrong until I've got at least one thing right. Thanks.

USB Advanced would be the one to use. I haven't got a 60Gb ( Died if YLOD) so im not an expert but know a wee bit on the subject.

So I managed to install and boot my copy of Virtua Fighter 4 EVO using ifcaro's USB Loader .02b.

I wish there was a version of this program which just booted the ISOs without any installation. emu_kidid did that with the freaking Gamecube.

Anyway, works well enough. Virtua Fighter 4 EVO skips a little but gameplay is smooth.

Ye the gamecube had no copyright lol. They thought CD burners were never going to catch on.
