Thing Needed:
+PSID Patch
+Genuine Console ID (Some say generated ones work but they do not unless you generate a valid one)
+Optional-genuine PSID That match the console id (This is not needed but it help be more secure)
This is not for nefarious use, it could also be used for masking your current console ID / PSID even if you aren't banned that way your actual console won't be banned.
1) Install PSID Patch
2) Make a .txt name "consoleid.txt" and add your console id in consoleid.txt then tranfer it to the root of your USB.
3) Launch PSIDpatch on the PS3 with the USB plugged in.
4) Press L1 or R1, Depending on what your spoofing. If you used a genuine console ID (L1 to patch inside psid) you will be able to connect to PSN

I've found that if you have a Cobra firmware (or install PRX loader) - WebMan works GREAT for spoofing PSID/IDPS -- simply open the WebMan settings, check the boxes and input your new ID's - then every time you boot your PS3 it automatically spoofs it. ^_^

why would you guys do this when you can just put whatever idps and psid in ccapi the spoof that with 32 0's and you could also do that with your original idps and psid and it would only take a few seconds been dong for almost a year now no ban

Hey guys im new to jailbreaks and was banned recently. I am 4.75 cex with mmcm, ninja, psn patch, and ccapi. Idk how to unban at all, ihabe read alot of shit on the tuts but am still not willing to try anything yet cause I really don't need another PS3 doorstopper. I have to brick consoles and was wondering even if they're bricked could I use the psid and idps from either one of those consoles for my cfw that I'm on that as of two days ago is now ban. Also how do I change my Ids once I do have a replacement. I've seen people say you can change everything in ccapi, and if so do I have to access ccapi though my PS3 or through a PC. Like I said I am new and try to read what I can before asking for help but as I read different forums I end up with more questions then fixes and I don't know anyone at the moment who can help so any help would be nice. like I said two systems down for different reasons and don't want a third to be toasted or stuck in single player purgatory.
