at first you need to know this:

ok now when you download the ff mod menu file all what you need is go to google and search for update the game
for example : MW2 1.14 pkgs
just add the game name and then add the last game update version + pkgs
and then use pkg viewer, here:

extract the pkg and open update folder and replace the ff inside update folder(I can't remember th file path)
and then go to PEXploit lite, here:

after you open PexPloit lite change the circle up from PexPloit to extracted package
and go to your extracted update with ff file inside it
and do it on your PS3's backup

GSC doesnt work on ofw even if you were to be running a modded backup for an ofw device

Some of these menus, for example the B02 menu are GSC and only working on CFW consoles!
