Firstly make sure on rebug toolbox that your Lv2 kernal and target type is on dex, system mode on rebug, and toggle cobra mode and webMAN are enabled and restart your ps3

Now that your ps3 has restarted, go to webMAN Games under the games tab and click on it, then click on webMAN setup, then click on (PS3)webMAN setup

Next scroll down till you see 2 boxes that say IDPS and PSID (Note: Take a picture or write down all the four boxes (2 by 2) before doing the next step) under “change idps and psid in lv2 memory at system startup. MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE TWO BOXES TILL IT HAS A CHECK MARK.

In the first box next to IDPS, look for the number 82 and change 82 to 84; then scroll down and save

After you click save, Follow the text (Click (Here) to restart your playstation 3 system)

And last do what you need to do to sign in and try signing in and it should work and stick so you don't have to go to rebug and ps3ita manager and manually change the IDPS every time you restart your ps3

Doesn't work for me? My origional CID is banned and whenever I tryed to spoof or change it I get this error code :/ so annoying

I tried this method and it doesn't seem to work honestly I would allow someone to use my cid on there ps3 to see if it's banned or it can be fixed before I go ahead I and buy a new cid I haven't used my ps3 in about 2 weeks and today I decided to play gta v and noticed that error 8002a224

Also I just read that unless playstion network has not notified me that I'm banned then I shouldn't be banned and I check and I don't have any notices....

I used to have this problem too with this exact error. Except I could sign in then I would randomly sign out and it would take 5 mins to sign back in.
I fixed this error for me by tweaking my router. It worked. All I did was enabled upnp and set my router to broadcast on a channel that no other router around me where I live, it was a simple fix and I haven't had a problem since. So anyone still having this problem could try this. It might work for you.like I said just log into your router and enable upnp ( if it is not already enabled) then scan the channels that might have interface then change the broadcast channel to one that is free. That way your ps3 will always stay connected to your internet and not be interrupted by other routers

I check my router and its already enabled in gonna try to reconnect my ps3 wired and run custom setup is there a setting I should use on the upnp on the ps3 that may help

ya nothing works after i updated to rebug 4.75.3. my cid ive always used gives me this error no fix so im done im selling it.

im having this same error but only when i use other private CID it was working just fine yesterday but when i use my the CID i use for my main account everything works just fine its weird

Yeah I'm on rebug 4.70 d-rex and I've been working good for over 2 months since I got in dex... I've have a few errors but easily fixed with minor tweaks but this is just restarted and I'm really stumped because of I'm banned from psn I should have gotten a notice at least I'm comtimplatiin getting a new cid but not for no reason if not needed
