(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); - Jailbroken/CFW PS3

- Multiman 1.16.9+

- MP3 file

- FileZilla/FTP client

Installation:

1. Download the .MP3 file you want to use and rename it to "SOUND.BIN".

2. Open FileZilla or open your PS3 via FTP client.

3. Navigate to this directory: dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/

4. Place "SOUND.BIN" in that directory.

5. Restart your PS3 and launch Multiman.

6. Enjoy your custom background music.

If it has been posted already then I'am sorry, I couldn't find one. Cheesy

Agreed, but when you play it a million times it's a "great" song, you'll get used to it :p

The original one was ok, I didn't hate it. I'd just prefer my own taste in music to be played Happy

Is there a way to change the startup sound to an MP3 file? When you power up the PS3?

Sometimes ftp fucks up , it did for me months ago when I did this. When I booted up multiman after changing the song. Nothing played so I went into the same directory and had to rename SOUND.BIN.MP3 . to just SOUND.BIN. so if anyone has trouble with music not loading just rename it in multiman and it should be fine. I choose the night by disturbed. Beautiful song, makes multiman more intense, :cool:

I did it all via Multiman. Just used USB with music on it and renamed it. I don't know that song but I looked it up, very intense! I used the intro theme song to Shawshank Redemption Smile
