I spoofed my firmware to 4.81 today, havent been on my DEX in a few years.
Tried with 3 ps3 controllers and 1 ps4 controller, none of them works.
Dont know what else of information is needed, please just ask. Any help appreciated.

what CFW are you running? Rebug? Habib? etc. also firmware number 4.76.1 etc.

Know for a fact that it wont work with the PS4 controller.

If you hold the PS button on a PS3 controller does it still bring up that screen? (power off, change controller etc...)

Yes, everything except minimizing the game works fine.

So you go to rebug.me and download a firmware, it will come in a rar file. Open that up and open the txt file copy the link and paste into web browser and start downloading the update PUP. When done, rename the file to PS3UPDAT make a new folder on your USB Called PS3 then inside that folder make a new one called UPDATE then put the PUP file in that folder. Go to PS3 and put USB in 2nd slot. Go to system update and click update via storage and click the update you downloaded. Done!
