there is no checkpoint in FileR-06.u have to acutally beat Sam without taking damge on Hard or above diff.
it requires some skill but not so much.take ur time to perfect the timing for block and attack and u will be fine.

sorry my english not good, but me have problem too. Me only getting combat A and not Rank S for combat.....i taking no damage, but still only get combat A. When credits finish it says all Rank S, but trophy working not......

I think that even if you S rank it you still won't get it, because all of the other levels need to be S ranked, I S ranked the last boss and the trophy still didn't pop. I think the levels have to be played legitimately, however if you so need help S ranking the last boss you need to have:
Time: less then 10 minutes
Combo: 80-100 combo (way to do this is have wig B on and then you slash in blade mose his back when he's healing, keep hitting him in blade mode until you can't hit him anymore, should have at least 70+ hits)
BP: Need at least 2 rock he tosses at you broken, just blade mode then with wig B and take your time, you need the nanopastes that come out of them for the BP
Zandatsu: - (none, you can't Zandatsu anything)
No Damage - You can't be hit, if you are hit restart, if you are killed you need to use a backup of your save right before you fight him or restart the level all over again, so backup your save right before the fight, and if he does kill you quit the game and copy the backup, also make sure the first two fights in this level are S ranked or you won't get it, you can backup your save for these fights too if you want.
Took me at least 20 tries from 4:30 to 6:30 in the morning :cry:

Ok thank u. The save is S rank on everything at end of credit....and the 2 parts of fight with boss final, are S ranked. So the file save, should working. Maybe what you said is where i going bad......I can get 400 hit combo, but only getting A rank. So must do what you say to get S rank.....
