A brand new RTS was announced exclusively for the Playstation 3. There aren’t many details about this new game, titled Under Siege.

It seems a lot of companies that make RTS’ for the console say the samething - “We’re making a unique game with a control scheme made with the console in mind”. Seed Studio has said those exact words, but we haven’t seen very many examples of RTS controls on the PS3 yet.

"Under Siege features an original world, unique gameplay elements and a control scheme designed with a console controller in mind."

It’s hard to tell what the game will be like or be about from the games two screen shots featured on the games site, but it sounds like they’re willing to put some hard work into it and continue to support it after its release.

"We are also working on implementing a large number of multiplayer and community features with special emphasis on user generated content"
