Plug a USB flash drive into your PC
On the USB device, create a folder called PS3
Inside that PS3 folder create a new folder called THEME
Find a theme you want to download (Theme.p3t)
Save the theme into the THEME folder on your USB device
Then go to theme options in XMB settings. And press install theme

No you don't need CFW, you can just go to ps3themes.com or whatever its called lol

Are these proper dynamic themes, with animation, or do they just change picture every time your turn ps3 on/quit game/leave store etc..

some of them are really dynamic, others are just like you say.

Any idea on which of these to start from, for real dynamic themes? I don't like random image dynamic themes and with all these themes available, would love the proper ones.

Edit: Looks like Wipeout, Motorstorm, Wakeboarding HD and World Cup dynamic theme are freebies from the shop. Prince of Persia and Heavy Rain on the other hand are proper dynamic and premium (so yay me, I got at least one for free because I bought PoP a while back) so those are definite get for anyone who hasn't bought them.

AngelSenki is animated, but I think it may be from the Japanese store as I've never seen it on UK/US so not sure if free or premium.
